I'm looking for a tattoo artist or parlor. I've recently moved to Deltona, and am trying to find a great shop to start going to.
Most of the work I want is traditional, Dia de los Muertos, and then some bright pieces (eg, of Alice in Wonderland).
Actually, a lot of the traditional work I plan on getting are kind of big-ish project (sleave/leg pieces). And the DdlM is a chest piece.

I've heard/seen some work out of a shop in Casselberry; but I didn't get the name of the shop, just saw two pieces done by a traditional artist there.
I'd really like to find somebody reliable, somebody I can keep going to (or a shop I can keep going to).

I'm in Orlando often enough, so I wouldn't mind the artist/shop being there.
I'd rather drive a half hour to a great place, than five minutes to a shitty one.

So, if you could help me out, that'd be excellent.

I don't know if this is the way to go. I have no where else to turn. I am about to become a homeless mother with two children (7 and 20 months). I guess my story is not much unlike a lot of others, and if I had the resources I would help them all. My 7 year olds father died at the age of 25 2 years ago. He had no work history and was on SSI and therefore there are no benefits for my daughter. My 20 moth old is a beautiful little angel but I have no idea where her father is. My sister was murdered in Erie PA about 4 years ago and my mother has the latter stages of MS. I have exauhsted all of my resources. I got caught up in a botched house deal in Erie and the state of PA is taking that away from me. I came here for a fresh start and got caught in a situation in which my car was vandalised to the point of ruin, lost my job, and now I am behind in rent. I got a new job which I started in October but I have fallen into a hole that I can't get out of. I have an eviction notice and am applying to all of the available resources I can find. I am not trying to stay down....I just want to be able to protect my kids and keep a place for them to live.

So what am I asking for?? I don't know....just some help to get me started again. ANy help.....advice.....small donations.....HELP!! I don't want to go out on the streets. We went to look at some of their work after it had been in use for a while and found the product was not holding up well to the seaside elements in Daytona. Moving here from Tennessee would more than likely be a culture shock for you, the people are not friendly, mostly because they are from the Northern Decent, we call them transplants, snowbirds who decided to stay, New Yorkers running from their past, etc. The weather is beautiful almost cannot be beat. The economy suck's big time there are no jobs. The rent is sky high even for retiree's that rent a lot in a mobile home park pay $400.00 or more a month and the owners continuelously raise their lot rents, housing prices are still too high. The crime rate rising because people are desperate. Homeless people are growing more and more everyday. Some places are trying to outlaw panhandling. I grew up here, moved away and came back, for what I think to come back to the place I grew up, but its not the same as I remember it. Unless you have a lot of money to blow and are stuck up and think your shit doesnt stink, you dont belong here. I realize the economy is bad all over but the only thing Florida itself has to offer is a tourist state, once you become a citizen of florida your screwed. I am sorry I did not paint a pretty picture for you and you might feel this couldnt be true and for you it may not be the same but I work for the public and have all my life and hear a lot of stories, mostly horror ones. The further south you go in Florida, the worse off it gets. Sorry but I believe Crist the Governor if you wanna call him that has done no good for this state and he doesnt even care. In fact he is real busy dodging the president, until we get a Governor in this state that will actually bring jobs, make the economy better then we have no hope here, people are leaving this state faster than they came in about the late 90's early 2000's. My name is Kim. I am a 33 year old single mother of four beautiful, amazing children- 3 of whom are disabled. We are from Michigan, and recently moved down here this summer with my ex-fiance for economical reasons. He has since broken off the engagement, and has decided to leave us high and dry right before Christmas. I am losing my house, and will not have any income until the first of January.

I am not one to admit that I need help unless I'm forced to. This would be a necessary instance.

MY CHRISTMAS WISH:

I want to take my family home. We need to be around those who love us and can help us through the hard times we are facing. I don't have that here, and I have no way to get us there. I'm reaching out to the community to help send us home to the support circle we desperately need.

I am not out to scam anyone, or take advantage of anyone's kind heart. I, myself, would give anyone my last dollar if I knew they were in need. Unfortunately, at this point, I don't even have that to give.

A November 6, 2009 law extends the popular first-time homebuyer credit and creates a new credit for long-time homeowners.
First-time homebuyer credit:
The deadline for the $8,000 first-time homebuyer credit is extended past November 30, 2009.
Buyers must enter into a binding contract to buy a home on or before April 30, 2010 and close on the home by June 30, 2010.
For purchases after November 6, 2009, the income ceiling to qualify for the full credit is raised, from $75,000 to $125,000 adjusted gross income for single filers and from $150,000 to $225,000 adjusted gross income for married couples filing jointly.
Long-time homebuyer credit:
A $6,500 credit is available for homebuyers who have owned a home for a period of five consecutive years in the eight years prior to purchase.
The credit applies to purchases on or after November 7, 2009. Buyers must enter into a binding contract to buy a home on or before April 30, 2010 and close on the home by June 30, 2010.
The income ceiling to qualify for the full credit is $125,000 adjusted gross income for single filers and $225,000 adjusted gross income for married couples filing jointly.
While many of the rules are the same for the $8,000 first-time homebuyer credit and the $6,500 homebuyer credit, there are important differences.

Important requirements about claiming first-time homebuyer credit

How you claim the credit depends on when you purchase your home.
If you bought your home at any time during 2009, can claim the credit when you file your 2009 taxes in 2010.
If you purchased your home on or before Nov. 6, you have the option to amend your 2008 tax return. But you might want to wait, until you file your regular 2009 return. All amended returns must be mailed to the IRS.
If you bought your home after November 6 and before January 1, you can not amend your 2008 tax return due to changes in the IRS forms for claiming the credit.
Those who buy in 2010 can choose to claim the credit when they file either their 2009 or their 2010 tax returns.
NOTE: Taxpayers who claim the credit on their 2009 tax returns can not e-file their returns. The IRS requires that they file a paper return instead and attach the settlement sheets showing that the home sale closed.

How the first-time homebuyer credit works
The credit is equal to 10 percent of the home purchase price, up to a limit of $8,000.
If you qualify for the credit, either your refund will be increased or your taxes reduced by as much as $8,000.
You can keep the credit, as long as you own the home for at least three years.
The credit is not available if you buy your home from a close relative, such as your spouse, parents, grandparent, child or grandchild -- or a close relative of your spouse.
Who is considered a "first-time" homebuyer?
You are, if you've never owned a home as your principal residence.
However, you could qualify even if you�ve owned a home before, just not as your principal residence during the three years prior to the purchase.
Your principal residence is where you live for most of the year.

Important: Married couples cannot qualify for the credit unless both spouses meet the three-year rule.
Other restrictions on homebuyers:
You must be 18 years or older on the date of purchase. If married, at least one spouse must be 18 or older.
You can't be claimed as a dependent by another taxpayer during the year you buy the home.
What qualifies as a principal residence?
It can be a house, a condo, co-op, house trailer or houseboat, within the United States. Vacation and rental homes are not eligible.
The credit does not apply to any home purchased for $800,000 or more.
What are the income limitations?
For purchases on or before November 6, 2009:
For single taxpayers, the credit decreases as modified adjusted gross income rises above $75,000, and it disappears altogether above $95,000.
For married couples, the credit starts to decrease at modified adjusted gross of $150,000 and disappears after $170,000.
Modified adjusted gross income is your adjusted gross income, or AGI (your gross income minus certain deductions such as IRAs and alimony) with tax-free foreign income counted.
For purchases after November 6, 2009 and on or before April 30, 2010:
For single taxpayers, the credit decreases as modified adjusted gross income rises above $125,000 and it disappears altogether above $145,000.
For married couples, the credit starts to decrease at modified adjusted gross of $225,000 and disappears after $245,000.
What is considered the "purchase price"?
The purchase price is generally your down payment, if any, plus your mortgage.
A mortgage can be a first or second mortgage or notes you gave the seller in payment.
How does the credit affect the taxes I owe and the refund I get?
The credit reduces your tax liability, that is, the amount of taxes you are required to pay. Depending on your tax withholdings, you could get a bigger refund or owe less in taxes when you file.
If, for example, your taxes owed for one year are $6,000, you�ve had $4,000 withheld from your wages, and you buy a home worth $100,000 in January of 2010, the housing credit would entitle you to a refund, as shown below.
Tax liability $6,000
Minus housing credit -8,000
Minus withholding -4,000
Refund $6,000

But if, for example, your tax liability was $10,000, but you had paid no withholding, then the credit would reduce the taxes you owe, as illustrated below.
Tax Liability $10,000
Minus housing credit -8,000
Minus withholding 0
Taxes due $2,000

How the 2008 first-time homebuyer credit works
The 2008 first-time homebuyer credit offered terms much less favorable than the recently revised credit. The 2008 tax break was essentially an interest-free loan worth as much as $7,500, created under The Housing Assistance Tax Act of 2008.
Known as the first-time homebuyer credit, the tax break was available to taxpayers who purchased a home on or after April 9, 2008 and before Jan.1, 2009, and met certain income and other requirements.
The credit is equal to 10 percent of the home purchase price, up to a limit of $7,500.
Unlike other tax credits, this one must be paid back to the government, over a 15-year period.
How is the credit repaid?
Repayments begin the second year after the tax year that the home was purchased. So the first payment would be reported on the 2010 tax return, as a tax liability. Taxpayers who took the credit might want to increase their withholding or make quarterly estimated payments to cover the repayment and avoid penalties for under-withholding.
What if circumstances change?
If you sell the house before the end of 15 years, you will have to pay the balance remaining on the credit on the tax return for the year the house was sold.
If you no longer use the home as your principal residence (say you rent it out), you pay the remaining balance on the tax return for the year the use changed.
If you die before the 15 years, the balance does not need to be repaid.
If you get a divorce and the home is transferred to your spouse, your spouse will be responsible for future payments
