as posted in the late part of September, on Aug 25, 2009, several LEGALLY OPERATING YACHT REPAIR CONTRACTORs have filed complaints with the city of daytona beach over the repairs of the city owned docks at halifax harbor marina. about illegal repairs done on the city owned docks without permits , licences, or proper insurance , the actual employee of the company that was doing the job in now in jail on drug charges. (,see note end of page about Nobel Poquette) The State of Florida Dept of Business and Professional Regulation shut the job down. while the City of Daytona Beach Code Enforcement tried to hide these facts of their failure to do their jobs... and no one in city govt is doing anything but hiding these facts from the taxpayers of Daytona Beach.

After doing an INTERNAL AUDIT King Chisolm and marina Manager Marc Phillips have declared everything is in order everything is aok.. WRONG!!!!!!!

On Wensday October 21, at 945 am , Marc Phillips wrote a two page letter to Commissioner Sheila McKay proclaiming is innocence and again slanders the persons responsible for HAVING THE STATE OF FLORIDA DEPT OF BUSINESS AND PROFESSIONAL REGULATION SHUTTING DOWN THE REPAIR JOB BEING ILLEGALLY PERFOREMED BY ISLAND BOUND MARINE SERVICE. I recieved the email forewarded to me by commissioner mckay withing 15 min of her recieving this letter of trash and lies, with a phone call that followed.

HER RESPONSE: unbelievable, the state shut the job down while Jim Chisolms cronies looked and are looking the other way, and have the nerve to say everything is aok


Ms McKay DOES get it...Her first response to me after EMAILING ME MARC PHILLIPS SLANDEROUS LETTER, WAS " what the heck does the audit have to do with the fact AN UNLICENCED CONTRACTOR HIRED BY MARC PHILLIPS WAS SHUT DOWN BY THE STATE OF FLORIDA AND NOT CITY CODE ENFORCEMENT!!!"


LIKE I SAID BEFORE king chisolm WE are not GOING away!! in fact we have come together as a group and hired a law firm out of Orlando to represent us.


KNOW THIS, JIM CHISOLM CONTINUES TO LIE TO THE CITY COUNCIL AND THE CITY COUNCIL REFUSES TO HOLD HIS FEET TO THE FIRE.

I thought you were an outstanding individual Mike, you were the only man in the room that shook my hand after the meeting...everyone speaks highly of you yet you sit there like a bump on Jim Chisolms butt. I and many others at the marina are truly dissapointed with you sir. thought you were a good honest man,,, well, guess maybe not . Mike I like you and think your a great police cheif, but you got many people woundering, wwe all know Chisolm controls your employment.

an added note Nobel Poquett, the person actually doing the work for Island Bound Marine on the city owned docks, was arrested in a drug sweep a couple of weeks ago and charged with posession and sale of cocaine, hydrocodone, oxycoicone and marijuana...guess he wont be working on the docks any time soon!!! lol ... one down many to go ... (see news journal Sept 20, 2009 pg 2c) And the HARASSMENT OF THE WHISTLE BLOWERS CONTINUES!!!! SOLUTIONS FOR THE CITY TO AVOID THE LIABILITIES THEY HAVE JUST ENCURRED; 1) fire the management of Halifax Harbor immediatly. seek financial restituion for their failure to protect the citys docks. 2) file suit against the company that actually did the work , Island Bound Marine Service, without permits and proper licencing. As a professional business they knew what they needed to have to legally do the work properly and failed to do what was required. and as usual they work in contrary to law, they have been doing this since 1994 3) hire a properly licenced dock repair company and have them rework the work already done by the drugaddicts hired by Marc Phillips of Halifax Harbor Marina. 4) hire an engineer to oversee the reworking of the repairs done by Island Bound Marine Service 5) file suit against Skipper Buds Mgt, Marc Phillips gen mgr of HHM, Fred (Rick) Andereau of Island Bound Marine Service to recover all expenses encurred by the City Of Daytona Beach TAXPAYERS for these corrupt persons responsible for their failure to properly follow the law in reguards to proper licencing, and permitting of the repairs of the city owned docks. If the City fails to do these things listed above, they assume all liability if these docks come apart during any storm or for any reason, and the taxpayers take it in the backside again The Mayor and the City Council have the ability to do all these measures to protect the taxpayers of Daytona. but they will have to admit they have egg on their faces for their failure to properly oversee Jim Chisolm city manager...What do you think they will do..... bet ya they continue to cover up and add more egg to their faces...
