The WX5 is a MIDI wind controller that comes with factory strap, mouthpiece cap, box, soft case, ‘cork’ grease, recorder mouthpiece and owner’s manual. It is lightweight and easy to play with flexible fingerings.
VL70-m is a virtual acoustic tone generator that comes with the coveted WindList upgrade chip, a new battery (2033), proprietary cable, factory power supply and owner’s manual. The display is crisp and clear with an unused appearance.
The WindList chip was created by a group of dedicated enthusiasts taking the best available sounds and upgrading the stock sounds via a new EPROM chip. Many of these sounds are anything from raunchy to exquisite and are unique to this instrument.
These units are professional-grade products and were designed by Yamaha to complement each other producing studio-quality sound - in stereo - with built-in effects. Everything is in excellent condition and ready to play without issue!
Fun to play at home or stand out while adding a unique voice to your ensemble - this instrument never fails to garner attention. There are even wireless MIDI systems available for those who prefer to roam the stage untethered.
As an experienced user, now 77, I am selling this, my backup rig as I am not performing as frequently as I used to. However, I do remain available for ongoing lessons to a local owner if desired.
