Interact with, and follow, the direction of the resident Daytona Beach Police Officer
Ensure good order throughout the Premises
Monitor security system
Shall conduct one full facility security inspection per shift
Assist with security during tours or when volunteers are present
Remove people from the Premises as needed (assistance of law enforcement as necessary)
Ability to De-escalate and deal with conflict
Conduct rounds of the Premises every 30 minutes
Standing and walking required
Provide nightly attendance reports
Maintain an active duty log during each shift
Attend all orientation training (to include training provided by the Daytona Beach Police Department)
Obey lawful orders from higher authority
Enforce client procedures, regulations, and standards
Qualifications specific to this client site include, but are not limited to:
At least 18 years of age or older as required by applicable law
Possess at least a high school education or equivalent (GED)
Pass a screening/background and drug process
Good communication skills and command of the English language required.
Must have dependable transportation.
Must be physically and mentally able to perform the assigned duties, ie; standing and walking required.
Must be able to follow written or verbal instructions.
Shifts & Hours:
Shifts Needed-full time: Two openings per 8-hour shift (40 hours per week)
Monday – Friday 8 am to 4 pm (Day shift), 4 pm to 12 am (Swing shift), 12 am to 8 pm (Graveyard shift)
Shifts Needed-Part time: Two openings per 12-hour shift (24 hours per week)
Saturday and Sunday 8 am to 8 pm (Day shift) 8 pm to 8 am (night shift)
Also hiring Saturday and Sunday 10 pm to 6 am (Overnight shift)
Monday to Sunday part-time 10:30 am to 1:30 pm (Mon-Fri/ Sat and Sun)
Compensation is hourly. The starting rate is $10.00 to $11.00 per hour, paid weekly.
