Maintenance Technician – Daytona Beach / Ormond Beach Area
We are seeking a reliable, skilled Maintenance Technician to join our growing property management team. Currently responsible for approximately 49 residential units, with additional properties being added, this position offers an excellent opportunity for long-term growth. This is a 1099 position and hours will will vary anywhere from 20-40/per week.
Responsibilities:
Perform general apartment maintenance and repairs
Complete work orders in a timely and professional manner
Handle basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, painting, and carpentry repairs
Prepare units for new residents (turnovers)
Conduct routine property inspections and preventative maintenance
Maintain grounds and common areas as needed
Respond to maintenance emergencies when necessary
Qualifications:
Previous apartment maintenance or related experience preferred
Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs
Ability to troubleshoot maintenance issues independently
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to lift, carry, and move maintenance equipment and supplies
